Dr. Martin P. Stewart

I have extensive experience in research and innovation at top universities and research institutes around the world including in Australia, Germany, Switzerland and USA. I have travelled to more than 50 countries and given scientific presentations in about 20 countries.

I have been tremendously privileged in my career so far to have the following research opportunities:
1. Working with world-class mentors who are leaders in their research fields: Robert S. Langer, Klavs F. Jensen, Tony Hyman, and Daniel Mueller.
2. Working at top research institutions and universities.
3. Gaining an excellent skillset and research experience in cell biophysics, cell biology, and bioengineering.
During my time in Europe (2007-2013), I Iearned to conduct in-depth biological research in the fields of cell biophysics and cell biology. In 2014 I went to MIT because I wanted to learn engineer cells for technological applications, from basic research to regenerative therapies and anti-cancer treatments. From 2014-2018 I focussed on the field of microfluidics-enabled intracellular delivery, working closely with cell therapy pharma start-up SQZ Biotech and generating a key piece of IP for the company, patent ID: US20190275520A1.

Throughout my research career, I have successfully published in the best scientific journals including Nature, Nature Cell Biology, Nature Communications, PNAS, and Chemical Reviews. See my Google Scholar profile for further information.
